Belair’s love affair with property has always been evident in the way we do things! Our emphasis on promoting Malta to the world has always been a prerogative that we evidently proved by our various marketing and business development initiatives. For this reason we are now on a mission to promote and bring awareness to our Capital City, which has seen much change and controversy over the past years, many of which were regularly highlighted, namely The City gate demolition, The Roofless Theatre, The New parliament building, The Bus service, Parking scheme, CVA, to mention a few.
Of all these controversies, one thing can be said…..It is all happening for the sake of making this City a better place; A place where business and culture are at the heart of the agenda; A place where architectural beauty and history makes Malta proud. One may say that all these issues have had negative effects on business, but MANY strongly believe that suffering is close to the end and that all the sacrifices that the city burdened will be paying off soon enough.
Malta is heading to host the European Presidency in 2017 and a year later Valletta will host the Capital City of Culture 2018 also referred to as V18….Many preparations are taking place to line up these historical events that will no doubt place Malta in the spotlight across Europe and the rest of the World.
The new government Shop scheme introduced earlier this year will also hopefully start turning things around. Operators of shops that operate for the sake of not losing the premises will have a legal right to sublet to more established ones, meaning that gone are the days of risky management agreements! Belair and many of its clients, both LOCAL AND FOREIGN, are acknowledging the potential that this City has. We now look towards the future with great ambition and for this reason we strive to continue building a strong portfolio of retail shops, commercial premises, as well as residential properties to enable us to keep servicing our ever-growing clientele, who are keen to be a part of this amazing place.
MOVING MALTA VIDEO BY BELAIR
Valletta, however is not the only beautiful place on the Maltese Islands, which undisputedly is gifted with culture dating back to Neolithic times complimented by beautiful vistas that we as Maltese people take so much for granted. For this reason we have also endeavored to launch a video aimed at showcasing spectacular vistas that can be enjoyed in Malta and Gozo. Aimed as a homage to the Maltese islands experience, the video portrays the charm and stunning beauty of the country, but aims to go a step further than that. Shot in around 40 different locations all across the Maltese Islands, the video was created by the team at Hangar and captures over 150 hours of filming in just over 2 minutes. Instead of opting for standard shots of the locations, the aim was to do things differently so a video composed of hyper-lapses was created, in which a large number of photos are shot over time and then stitched together so as to create powerful moving images. The music accompanying the video was also composed especially for the project.
Visibly enthused by the finished product, Ian Casolani from Belair Property speaks animatedly and with passion. “At Belair Property we aim to go further than just selling people a property. We don’t just hand people the keys and that’s it. For a start, we’re selling Malta, and Malta is far more than what meets the eye. Go to www.belair.com.mt/moving-malta to view this video.
